Micro-Mode Products offers the industry’s 1st Calibration Kits developed exclusively for SMPM and MSSS series connectors. This development was i
n response to a need in the industry for improved calibration accuracy above 50 GHz. Our cal kits offer accuracy and repeatability for 2-port calibration from 1 GHz to 67 GHz using the TRL/LRL calibration method. Precision adapters (1.85mm) are included in all our standard calibration kits. Our calibration kits are also compatible with E-CAL calibration techniques.
Why use TRL/LRL method for calibration? Thru-Reflect-Line/Line-Reflect-Line methods allow accurate repeatable calibration over a broad frequency range by combining varying line lengths with a reflect standard on a two port configuration. It is also the most accurate method for frequencies above 50 GHz.
